Annualising an hourly rate
A £15 an hour role at 37.5 hours × 52 weeks is £29,250 gross a year; at 40 hours it is £31,200. Add 52.14 weeks instead of 52 and the annual figure rises slightly (that is how payroll calendars sometimes count the year).
